What is the Jolly Good Funfest?

A family day out filled with a wide range of over 25 fun interactive games and activities. The Funfest will encourage you and your children to create, explore, dance, play, discover and laugh! For more information, take a look at the Activities page.

When is the Jolly Good Funfest?

Our Jolly Good Funfest will take place on two days; Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2022.

What time does it start and finish?

The Jolly Good FunFest will open at 10:30am and finish at 4:30pm on each day. Visitors can book on to the morning session from 10:30am or the afternoon session from 1:30pm.

Where is it happening?

The event will take place on the grounds of The Letchworth Centre For Healthy Living, Hitchin Rd, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3NA. 

How do I get there?

Is there a car park?

Yes; there are a limited number of onsite parking spaces at the Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living. There are also a limited number of spaces at the overflow event car park located approximately 2 minutes walk from the event venue. Parking must pre-booked and paid for in advance. You will receive a separate email nearer the time of the event with your parking permit. The parking permit needs to be printed and displayed on your car dashboard. Other parking options are approximately 10 minutes + walk from the venue. Please see the Getting Here page​ for more information on parking and travel.

Who is it aimed at?

Although the event activities are aimed at children from 9 months to 10 years, we aim to create fun for the whole family. The Jolly Good Funfest will be a fun and magical place, which will inspire and create incredible memories that last for years to come. Parents and carers are more than welcome to get their faces painted too!

Does my baby need a ticket?

Children under 9-months are free of charge but they do still need a valid ticket to gain entry.

Do I need to bring a ticket with me?

While we do not publish physical tickets for the event, you will be required to show proof of valid ticket purchase in order to gain entry into the event. You can print out a copy of your booking confirmation or show us the purchase details on your phone.

What activities are included in the ticket price?

Over 25 activities are included in the ticket price including Train and Track Room, Archery, Mini-Golf, Soft-Play Room, Animal Encounters, Character Meet and Greet and many many more.

There are only a couple of activities which include a small additional cost.

 

How many times can we go on each activity?

As many times as you like! Time limits may be introduced on very popular activities to ensure everyone has to opportunity to participate. In the event of a time limit system being introduced, attendees will be permitted to re-join the queue as many times as they wish.

What is the Enchanted Trail?

It is a magical walk through the decorated woods with a sweet treat for your little one once completed..

Can I purchase tickets for Enchanted Trail?

 

The trail is included in the general admission and therefore there is no extra cost for this activity.

Do I need to bring cash?

While we prefer card payments, you can opt to pay with cash if you wish. Please note that there are no cash points onsite or in close proximity to the venue.

Can I bring my dog/cat/Gruffalo/unicorn?

Unfortunately, no pets or animals are allowed on site with the exception of registered guide dogs.

Can I bring my own food?

While you are welcome to bring your own food, the covered seating in the large marquees and the seating area in the café will be restricted to those who have purchased food and drinks at the event. There will be a delicious array of snacks, treats and meals available for purchase at the event. No alcohol is permitted onsite.

Is there a baby changing area?

Yes, there will be baby changing facilities at the event.

Can I bring a pushchair?

Please do feel free to bring a pushchair for your little ones. However, we ask you not to take them inside the event building as space is limited and they may restrict or block access to fire exits. A covered buggy park will be provided. Please also note that, much of the event takes places on grass which may make pushing a pushchair difficult, particularly in wet weather.

What accessibility provisions does the event have?

There are a number of disabled parking spaces available at the site. Spaces must be booked in advance and a blue badge must be displayed. There is one disabled toilet onsite.

Customers requiring assistance during the event will be entitled to apply for one free pass for their Personal Assistant/Support worker. Proof of middle or higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility must be presented to Ticketline

Please be advised that there is limited space inside the event building. Outside, the site grounds could pose problems for mobility (particularly in wet weather).

Can I leave the site and then come back in?

Yes, you will be allowed to re-enter the site as long as you can show valid ticket purchase upon re-entry.

What happens if it rains?

A bit of rain won’t stop our fun! The event will still proceed if the weather is wet. While many of the activities are indoors or outside under marquees, a large part of the event is outdoors without cover. As such, we advise you to come prepared with adequate clothing. In the interest of safety, Jolly Lemon Events reserves the right to suspend the certain activities during particularly adverse weather conditions.

Who do I contact about lost property?

Any Lost Property that has been handed to the Jolly Good Funfest staff onsite, will be collected and kept for a period of one month. If you have lost something at the Funfest, please send us an email with a detailed description of the lost item along with a contact telephone number and we will let you know if it has been found.

What happens if Jolly Good Funfest is unable to take place in 2022?

Ticket holders would be given the option to roll over their tickets to be used on one of our other 2022/2023 events, or receive a refund from the ticket provider. Please refer to Ticketline’s ticket purchase policy.

What additional safety measures will be in place for Jolly Good Funfest?

The safety of our attendees and staff is of paramount important to us. We will be closely monitoring the rules and regulations regarding the Covid-19 pandemic in order to ensure that the correct safety measures are put into place for the event.

What happens if we are unable to travel due to government COVID-19 restrictions? 

Ticket holders would be given the option to roll over their tickets to be used on one of our 2022 events or receive a refund from the ticket provider. Please refer to Ticketline’s ticket purchase policy.

What happens if I or someone in my group tests positive for COVID-19?

If a Ticketholder tests positive for COVID-19 then they and any other Ticketholder under the same booking would be given the option to roll over their tickets to be used on one of our 2022 events or receive a refund from the ticket provider. Please refer to Ticketline’s ticket purchase policy.

What are the dates for the 2023 Jolly Good Funfest?

The dates for 2023 are to be confirmed. However, if you fancy a bit of Halloween fun, put Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October 2022 in your diaries for our spooktacular Spooky Funfest.
