Event Organisation

The event will be held on the grounds of The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living, Hitchin Road, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, SG6 3NA.

The event is organised and managed by Sequence of Events Ltd. trading as Jolly Lemon Events a company incorporated in England and Wales. Company number: 8672344. Registered office: 71 Knowl Piece Wilbury Way Hitchin Hertfordshire SG4 0TY.

 

Events Tickets and Admission

Right of admission reserved.

A valid event ticket entitles the ticket holder to attend the event on the date and time stated on the booking confirmation.

Admission will be granted upon presentation of a valid ticket. Tickets can be presented by printing a copy of the booking confirmation email or by showing a copy of the booking confirmation email on a mobile device. 

The event organisers and staff shall not be responsible for any loss and/or damage to the event tickets. 

The event organisers, event staff, event contractors and affiliated entities shall not be responsible for any mistakes made during or after the event ticket booking process. 

Event tickets must not be exchanged, transferred or altered. Entry to the event will not be permitted under these circumstances.

Other than for reasons relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, all event ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded after purchase. Please see Ticketline’s purchase policy. 

Adult Tickets

Adult and tickets can only be used by persons aged 18 or over on the day of their attendance at the Spooky Funfest.

No admission without a valid ticket.

Child Tickets

There are two options for child tickets. Babies (0 – 6 months old) and Children (6 months – 18 years old). Babies may enter the event free of charge but a valid ticket must still be presented for your baby in order to gain entry.
 
Child tickets must only be purchased by either the parent or guardian of the child for whom you are purchasing.

 

Children must enter the site with their parent or guardian who must be aged 18 or over. 

Children (all persons under the age of 18 years) must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times during the event.

Safety and Security


The Spooky Funfest is a family event for people to relax and have a good time. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be ejected without refund.

The items not permitted at the Spooky Funfest are as follows: alcohol, illegal substances such as illegal drugs or psychoactive substances, laughing gas, NOS, fire and fireworks, flares, Chinese lanterns, beanbags, animals (with the exception of assistance dogs), personal motorized vehicles (with the exception of mobility scooters), any items capable of making loud noise for example klaxons, air horns, megaphones, large sound systems, glass of any kind, drones, laser equipment or pens, paint spray cans, unauthorised or professional film or video equipment, high visibility jackets/bibs and any dangerous or hazardous item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon. 


Glass bottles are not permitted on to the site under any circumstance.

We kindly ask that you monitor your child(ren) at all times during their time at the event.

In very rare circumstances, it may be necessary to close or restrict access to the event for safety and/or security reasons. Such reasons may include (but are not limited to) operational reasons and adverse weather conditions.
 
The event organisers, event staff, event contractors and affiliated entities accept no responsibility for any loss and/or damage suffered by you as a result of any event outside our control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

No animals are permitted at the event with the exception of assistance dogs (such as guide dogs).

Photography and Videography

Photographers and videographers will be present throughout both days of the event. By entering the event, all ticket holders (including all minors) agree and consent to being photographed or filmed and for any images and/or films to be used in future event media, promotional material and/or marketing.

Unauthorised professional film or video equipment will not be permitted at the event.

CCTV cameras will be in operation across the event site.

Child Safeguarding Policy Statement

The organisers of the Spooky Funfest are dedicated to creating a fun event using means, methods and resources which will create a safe and secure environment in which all children can enjoy themselves.

General Information

 

The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living is a beautifully kept site and we want to keep it that way. Please do tidy up after yourselves and use the bins provided.

Spooky Funfest™ is pending trademark registration approval. Written permission must be granted by Jolly Lemon Events to use the event name and/or artwork.

The event organisers reserve the right to change the event activities without notification.

The event organisers reserve the right to amend the event Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Promotional and trading activities will not be permitted during the Event without written permission from the event organisers prior to the event. Please refer to our privacy policy.

Refunds

The event organisers reserve the right to cancel event tickets should governmental or other regulatory restrictions relating to the Covid-19 pandemic be implemented at any time before or during the start of the event.


In the event that the Spooky Funfest must be cancelled or postponed due to governmental or other regulatory restrictions relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, ticket holders would be given the option to roll over their tickets to be used on one of our 2022 events or receive a refund from the ticket provider. Please refer to Ticketline’s ticket purchase policy for more information.

Other than for reasons relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, all event ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded after purchase. Please refer to Ticketline’s FAQ for further details.

Each ticket holder is responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the event. Ticket holders waive all rights against the event organisers, event staff, event contractors and affiliated entities for any loss or damage to travel and/or accommodation expenses whether direct or consequential from postponement, cancellation, abandonment or curtailment of the event.

Important

By booking on to the event and/or attending the event, each ticket holder, or the legal guardian responsible for the ticket holder, acknowledges that event attendance is entirely at their own risk and neither the event organisers nor any event organisers, event staff, event contractors and affiliated entities, shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage to person or property. Save for:

Death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the event organisers, event staff, event contractors; and

Any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
